Diploma - Health Records Management
A diploma in Medical Records Management can open career doors to work in hospitals, physician offices, and insurance companies. Students will learn medical terminology, how to organize the patient chart, and ways to analyze records for missing or incomplete notations. Many hospitals and offices are updating systems to electronic gathering of information so lessons will also teach how to use this technology and comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements.
