Diploma - Jewelry Design and Repair
A diploma in Jewelry Design and Repair can prepare students for opportunities in the business as they learn how to create custom jewelry pieces and repair and restore customer's pieces that may have been damaged or need cleaning. Lessons provide instruction on how to cut and join metals, polish and set stones, and make molds for repair or custom jewelry designs. Graduates will also learn soldering, engraving, enameling, and plating techniques to expand their knowledge and skills in these areas as well.
