Associate - Paralegal
Earning an associate degree in Paralegal studies prepares students to work under the direct supervision of an attorney as they assist the attorney by preparing legal documents, researching cases and laws, and interviewing clients. Skilled paralegals can work in large or small firms or for governmental or private agencies. Paralegals must also learn to follow the ethical rules of procedures relating to confidentiality of information, attorney-client privilege, and ethical treatment of clients.
