Our Doctor of Education in English as a Second Language(ESL)/English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program provides instruction in the assessment and development of curriculum content and practical information related to bilingual instructional methods that teachers can facilitate in directed classroom settings. Courses will examine age appropriate and culturally relevant materials that incorporate the needs and emphasize respect to learners from diverse backgrounds and how to adapt content curriculum for ESL/ESOL students. Candidates should check with their respective state officials to determine if this program meets applicable certification requirements and should hold a master's degree prior to enrolling.
