Some businesses are driven by technology, whereas others are driven by personalities and relationships. Determining the benefit of technology to your business is crucial to running an efficient organization. For instance, if you are any type of engineering or production company, a new technology could increase your profits ten fold, whereas if you are a law firm, what is the point of purchasing an expensive server system when your current system works fine? Most businesses simply look to improve their technology at all costs assuming they will fall behind if they do not, but, sometimes by not switching they will be saving money and therefore moving ahead of competitors.
Some celebrities are upgrading their technology as well. Many celebrities have become enamored with Twitter, such as Ashton Kutcher, John Mayer, and of course, the king of Twitter Shaquille O’Neal. Like companies who do not switch to new operating systems or technologies, some celebrities will fall behind if they do not get with the times and start utilizing tools like Twitter and Facebook.
