Capella believes in providing students both superb academics and practical skills, so classes are taught by faculty members who are scholars and practitioners in their fields. Additionally, where applicable, curricula are constructed to meet the standards established by professional trade associations to ensure students gain the knowledge sought by employers.
Capella University Learning Format
Courses are accessible anytime day or night, from any Internet connection. Students usually need to log in 2-5 times per week to download assignments, read and contribute to class discussions, review faculty feedback, and more.
Capella University Tuition/Financial Aid
Three in four Capella students receive financial aid to cover their expenses. Capella participates in several federal financial aid programs including the Federal Pell Grant Program and Federal Stafford Loan Program.
Capella is also eligible to certify Veterans Educational Benefits and can provide information on other non-federal loan programs.
Also available are Capella-funded scholarships in select disciplines, such as the Robert C. Ford Human Services Scholarship and the Helene Krivosha Scholarship for education students, as well as external scholarships offered specifically to Capella students, such as the Go the Distance Scholarship.
