Westwood College Accreditation
Westwood College: The Assurance of a Quality Education
Westwood College is proud that its schools are accredited by either the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) or the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS).
Westwood is also a candidate for accreditation with The Higher Learning Commission and an affiliate of the North Central Association (http://www.ncahlc.org/).
Accreditation is a formal recognition that an institution meets accepted standards for a quality education set forth by national accreditation organizations recognized by the Department of Education.
Besides signaling a degree’s status to prospective employers, accreditation is crucial when transferring college credits. Plus, without accreditation, a school is ineligible for government student assistance programs, rendering students ineligible for federal grants and loans.
